• Not on the card: no stroke, but the shot clock keeps running.
• Out of time: +1 stroke.
• Water / OB: +1, dropped where it went in.
• Bunker 70% carry, rough 85%, trees 60%, unless the course says otherwise. Bad lies can mishit short.
• Every shot wobbles a little in length and line.
• Putting off the green is bumpy: length and line both wander.
• Green: approach shots feed a little toward the hole; putts get no help. Inside 5 yds is a gimme.
• Too clever: sounds niche, but everyone says it. It slices.
